How to Give to CPAFI Through SECC

Follow the steps below to make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring payroll deduction through the SECC giving portal.

Sign in to the SECC portal

Visit the SECC giving portal and select Sign In. Enter your State employee credentials to access your account.

If you have not used the SECC giving portal before, follow the registration instructions provided on the login page.

Start or modify your gift

Once you're signed in, select Give from the navigation. The next step depends on whether you're creating a new gift or updating an existing pledge.

Making a new gift

Select Give → Give Now to begin a new contribution. Follow the prompts to set up your gift and payment method.

Updating an existing gift

Already have an SECC pledge? Select Give → My Giving History and open your current gift.

Select Modify This Gift to update the amount, payment method or charity designation.

Choose your contribution

Select your payment method and enter the amount you would like to contribute. For a recurring payroll deduction, enter the amount you would like deducted per pay period.

Select CPAFI as your charity

When you reach Select Designations, select Find a Charity.

In the charity search field, enter Correctional Professionals.

Select Correctional Professionals Assistance Fund of Indiana from the search results, then choose Add to designations.

Once CPAFI has been added, confirm the amount or percentage of your gift you would like designated to CPAFI and select Next Step.

Review and finish your pledge

Complete any required contact or profile information, then review your contribution, payment method and CPAFI designation.

You’ll also have the option to choose whether your contact information can be shared with CPAFI or made public through SECC.

When everything looks correct, select Finish to submit your gift.

CPAFI is a 501 (c) 3 charitable fund, who provides short-term immediate monetary assistance to Indiana Department of Correction employees or their immediate family members.

Proceeds may also be used for tuition assistance scholarships for employees of the Department or their immediate family members or dependents.

All of the funds are administered by the Board of Directors of the Correctional Professionals Assistance Fund of Indiana.
