NOTE: With respect to two of the Spring 2024 supplies scholarships, students who do not meet one or more of the general prerequisites of the other CPAFI scholarships are free to apply and compete for "Special Circumstances" scholarship. When applying for a Special Circumstances scholarship, check the box on the application indicating you are applying for a "Supplies Scholarship" then, as part of your written "Personal Statement" (Section 5 of the application), indicate that you are applying for a "Special Circumstances" scholarship and include within this statement the unique factors or set of circumstances you believe should be taken into consideration when determining application eligibility.
*Added guidelines for IDOC Scholar scholarship include minimum of 3.0 GPA and proof of volunteer service each year you’re awarded the scholarship. Intended for high school seniors only.

CPAFI is a 501 (c) 3 charitable fund, who provides short-term immediate monetary assistance to Indiana Department of Correction employees or their immediate family members.
Proceeds may also be used for tuition assistance scholarships for employees of the Department or their immediate family members or dependents.
All of the funds are administered by the Board of Directors of the Correctional Professionals Assistance Fund of Indiana.
